Welcome Owners, Trainers, Yard Managers
As a racehorse owner, trainer or race yard manager, your horses are your livelihood, your legacy — and your responsibility. At TopLine, we understand the deep care, precision, and professionalism it takes to prepare a Thoroughbred for competition. But we also understand what comes next.
When a horse’s time on the track is over, the transition to a new life can be complex — both physically and mentally. That’s where we come in.
TopLine’s purpose-designed Thoroughbred Retraining Yard provides tailored, ethical aftercare by equine professionals who understand the unique mindset and body of the racehorse. We don’t just rehome — we retrain with patience, consistency, and respect. Our calm, supportive environment allows ex-racers to adapt gradually to new routines, expectations, and identities, setting them up for long-term success in second careers.
By partnering with TopLine, you ensure your horses are given the thoughtful transition they deserve — and demonstrate to owners, syndicates, and the wider public that you take your role in aftercare seriously. This builds trust. It strengthens your professional reputation. And it reinforces racing’s social licence at a time when transparency and welfare standards matter more than ever.
We welcome long-term collaborations with training yards who share our values. Whether you're looking to send individual horses, offer group placements, or create a formal aftercare pathway from your yard to ours, we’re here to work with you — for the good of your horses and the future of our sport.
Let’s give every horse a second chance that reflects the first-class start they were given.

TopLine Thoroughbred Retraining.
At TopLine, we are building more than a retraining yard — we are creating a purpose-designed space where Thoroughbreds and people alike can find new direction, resilience, and healing.
We understand the careful thought, dedication, and investment that goes into producing a racehorse to be a top athlete. These horses are intelligent, driven, and finely tuned — and when their racing careers end, they deserve the same level of care and consideration as they adapt to life beyond the track. At TopLine, we offer exactly that.
With decades of equestrian and equine behaviour experience, we deliver structured, evidence-based retraining that gives each horse the time and individual support they need to thrive in a new environment. We specialise in building confidence — in horses and in people — and our programs are deeply grounded in ethical horsemanship and lifelong welfare.
But we go beyond aftercare. We open our gates to the community. Through education, volunteering, and equine-assisted experiences, we use these horses as a bridge — to teach empathy, build resilience, and foster connection. We believe this is where racing's social licence is renewed: not in headlines, but in the day-to-day, lived experiences of Thoroughbreds being honoured, supported, and celebrated.
We invite partners who share our vision — of a future where Thoroughbreds are not just rehomed, but revalued. Together, we can show what responsible aftercare truly looks like — and lead by example in building trust, transparency, and genuine impact.
Let’s create second chances. Let’s lead with care.
