8:30 PM – Evening Hack

TopLine Adult Camp – Packing Checklist

For the Rider

 Riding Gear

  • Riding hat (to current safety standard)

  • Body protector (if preferred or required)

  • Riding boots (long boots or short boots with chaps)

  • Gloves

  • Breeches or jodhpurs (at least 2 pairs)

  • Comfortable tops for riding (weather-appropriate)

  • Waterproof jacket or riding coat

  • Extra layers/fleece for early mornings or evenings

  • Spare socks & underwear

  • Yard/work boots

  • Sliders or easy shoes for around camp (not on the yard)

Personal Items

  • Camping gear (tent, mat, sleeping bag, pillow)

  • Own cups, plates and cutlery

  • Towel and toiletries

  • Sun cream and insect repellent

  • Torch or headlamp

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Snacks & extra snacks

  • Own alcohol (optional, enjoy responsibly)

  • Notebook & pen (for learning sessions & journaling)

  • Phone charger/power bank

  • Phone tripod/stick to video your lessons

  • Medication (if needed) – plus hayfever tablets if you’re prone!

  • Change of clothes for social activities (e.g. dinner, campfire)

  • Rider registration form (if not already submitted)

  • Emotional support buddy (if you’d like one!)

 

 

 For Your Horse (if bringing your own)

Stable & Feed

  • Passport (must be shown on arrival)

  • Hard feed (if needed) – hay and straw provided by TopLine (if unsuitable please bring your own)

  • Feed buckets

  • Haynet (if preferred to use your own)

  • Water bucket for stable

  • Muck fork, broom & skip (optional, yard tools available)

 Tack & Equipment

  • Saddle & bridle (plus spare if needed)

  • Saddlecloths (2 recommended)

  • Girth

  • Boots or bandages

  • Headcollar & lead rope (spares recommended)

  • Grooming kit

  • Fly spray & rug (if needed)

  • Tack cleaning kit

 Health & Safety

  • First aid kit (basic)

  • Any medications or supplements

  • Emergency contact for horse in case of rider illness

 

Please make a list of anything you would like to learn, or practice ridden or non ridden and we will incorporate these into your sessions at camp 😊
